Ice Skating Lessons

When we were still living in Florida, Sarah got very interested in ice skating. She even started to roller blade so that she could eventually learn to ice skate. While in Florida, we only went ice skating once, and that was for her 9th birthday. Here in Pennsylvania, though, ice skating is a pretty big thing. We have an ice rink very near our house and so we looked into lessons. We decided to go ahead and do them for Miss Sarah and after her first lesson tonight, I was really glad that we did! I wish you could have seen her face as she skated around. It was a level one class, but the instructor pulled Sarah aside and said if she could master some basics, she could move up to level two even by the next class. So, Sarah has a few things to work on this week and practice, practice, practice.

It was really a fun night watching her ice skate. She really enjoyed herself!
