Ribbons, ribbons everywhere

Yesterday I went down to the fair and picked up all our stuff that we had entered. We had entered A LOT of stuff this year.
Here is the pictures of the ribbons that we won:

I entered lots of food items this year. I won first place in my whole wheat bread and my apple pie. Then I won second place with my carrot cake and third with my candy. Sarah was the next big winner. She won 3rd for her table setting and 2nd for her fair place mat that she designed. The dark purple ribbons are for participation ribbons. She entered LOTS of entries! Joshua also entered lots of things (not all of his participation ribbons are even in the picture!) He got 3rd for his popsicle stick garage that he made and 3rd for his Lego creation. He got honorable mentions for his muffins and his other lego creation. Too fun. My Timothy entered the fair for the first time this year. He entered a lego creation as well - a "dragon trainer." He didn't win, but it was fun for him. He got two participation ribbons.

Also, our 4H group won 4th place in our booth! Hooray! That is worth $400 for our little Hot Peppers 4H group! Exciting stuff. We are hoping to have a big party to celebrate the end of year and do some special things for the kids with the money. We had a great time with all these things.

To be perfectly honest, we are kind of glad that it has all come to an end now. Now we start the birthday celebrations!
