Crazy busy days

This week has been busy. REALLY BUSY! We are usually pretty boring in the Mateer household. (OK, I mean as far as being involved in tons of activities. Our house is never really boring - it's pretty crazy in the house. But we usually don't get involved in a lot of outside activities because we like trying to have a regular schedule.) Anyhoo, the kids have started basketball again. That is great fun for them. It also makes our weeks a bit busier. Josh has practice one night, Sarah a different night and then their games are different times on Sat. It's OK, though, it is fun to be a part of such a great league and they are learning lots. It's just busy. Then when you add my ladies Bible study, Dave's Lego Robotics Class with our 4H group, co-op homeschooling, field trips, Valentine's parties, etc. It makes for a very busy 2 weeks!!!

So in the midst of this very busy day, I am sitting down to write on my blog.

Tim and Sarah got a ride to co-op this morning. Josh had a special field trip for fifth graders that he went to with a friend and Sammy and Anna and I stayed here and spent some time together. It was a fun day. Sammy and Anna and I read books and then went out to the basketball court for Sammy to ride his bike some more. We both rode our bikes (he said that we were having bike races, but that he won them all but one.) Anna rode her scooter. We were going to go to the library with them in the wagon:

but on the way to the library, Anna fell out of the wagon and we had to come home and get a band aid. (I think she wanted to get out and walk. That is what she said.)

Then after Anna's nap, we rushed out to pick Josh up at his cool field trip. It is a 2 day field trip - where they learn about different habitats in Florida and do a dry day (today) and a wet day (tomorrow). He got to go with his buddy from down here.

Then we went to co-op for the Valentine's party. That was fun. The kids got to exchange Valentines with their friends and we had some snacks. They had fun reading all their Valentines when we got home. Here is a picture of Anna decorating her bag (and herself) the other day:

Then tonight Sarah has basketball. OK, I am ready to go to bed!
