Home Sweet Home

OK, so it has been a few weeks since I wrote. You will have to forgive me, we have been a bit busy. WE MOVED INTO OUR NEW HOUSE! Wowee. We have been here one week now. What a fun blessing a house is! We are very thankful for all the Lord has blessed us with.

There are so many blessings that have been associated with getting this particular house, at this particular time. We found this one within the first week and we both really liked it when we went through it. It was built by the couple who were selling it and they had been in it for 54 years. It has a lot of character and we are so happy with our purchase. It does need some work, but it is a good house. We have gotten a lot done in the past week (with much thanks to Bob and Peg for all their help as well.) Today we actually got the cars in the garage!

 I had the kids take pictures of their favorite places in the house. Here is what we all loved about it:

Alright, don't judge me about the playroom. We took this picture before it got more organized. The kids do love this room, though.

OK, so this part is NOT one of my favorite parts of the house. 

It is one of those open cabinets; I usually like things hidden, but hey, it's fun. :)

There is also a great room off the back which is really lovely, but my picture didn't turn out very well. We feel so blessed. Even though this world is not truly our home, this is a nice place to stay on the journey. :)
