Little Dresses

When Dave and I went to Hawaii, we bought Sarah this beautiful little dress from Oahu. I loved it. Sarah wore it until she could wear it no longer and I put it away. I couldn't bear to give it up. So I kept it, not knowing that the Lord was going to bless us with another little girl.

So then, we had Anna. Anna wore it as soon as she was big enough to get into it. And the craziest thing happened. She grew too big for it. (Are they allowed to do that?!) 

Anyway, when I put it on her a few Sundays ago, it was TOO tight and TOO short. (I let her wear it to church anyway, but Dave said, "No more, hon. It's too small."

So, I decided to take it apart and make it bigger.

Here is what I did. I took the seams apart and added some darker purple fabric along the sides. Then I added a ruffle so it was longer. I was very pleased with the results.
