Trick or Treat

I know there are varied opinions about Trick or Treat. Probably in the course of our married life, Dave and I have held to many different opinions ourselves about Trick or Treat. When we were in Florida, we never went trick or treating. We usually went to a Harvest Party at one of the local churches. When we were in Kentucky, we never went trick or treating, but we would hand out candy and tracts from Living Waters. Now that we are yet in another new state, we do a bit of both. We do let the kids go trick or treating and we still hand out tracts from Living Waters. So, there has been a bit of transition.

Anyhoo. Last night the kids went trick or treating. It was a fun time and IT WAS VERY WET!!! It poured pretty much the whole time. Since all of our umbrellas have been destroyed over the years, we decided to go trick or treating up at Dave's parent's house first - to see them and to borrow an umbrella too! The kids had a great time and got tons of candy and chips to rot their teeth. Dave took them trick or treating, while I stayed here and handed out the candy and the tracts.
