We went on a Tuesday with this great deal from our local grocery store. Your whole car could get in for $95 and if you had a Giant Eagle card, you saved even more off of that! It was a great deal, as I said - esp. for our family of 7! It was a great day all around.
Kicking off the day with Pop-Pop and the rides!!
Mom-Mom with Sam on the balloon ride
Sam and I on the ferris wheel
This fun little place is called Story Book Forest. A lot of the children's books "come to life" for the kids.
(Truth be told, really most of our children are too old for this part, but it was a fun little stop.)
Plus, we were studying King Arthur for our Middle Ages study, so we just had to go and stop by the sword in the stone. :)
All of us on a little bridge in the Story Book Forest
Anna on the Good Ship Lollipop
Josh easily removing the Sword in the Stone!
Anna pulling a little harder!
Tim as one of the 3 Little Pigs!
Sarah doing a little dancing on the life-size blocks...
and running over her brother with the magic carpet. :)
We also went to the water park (aka Soak Zone) and spent several hours there! The kids loved that! They got to do water slides, the wave pool and a whole adventure area for the younger three! It was very fun.
We had some pizza at the park, rode some more rides and called it a day. It was a great day and we were so glad to spend it with Pop-Pop and Mom-Mom!
that is as good as Disney World!! no crowds but fun. How in the world is there an amusement park in the middle of PA???? How can it make it??
ReplyDeleteI wonder why we never went there when you were a teenager. Looks like a great place for kids. Water park appeals to all ages.
