Fall in Florida

Well, Fall has descended upon us here in Florida (at least that is what the locals tell us.) It IS a bit cooler - actually very nice, we have our windows open right now. To be perfectly honest, I have been in the mood for vegetable soup and pumpkin bread, so it at least smells like fall. :) Yesterday, in honor of the beautiful "fall" weather we have been having, the kids and I decided to go and buy our pumpkins. This is a different experience for us, considering the pumpkins are shipped in from other areas and then brought to churches for fund raisers. We did find some lovely pumpkins though and the kids and I had a very nice day out and about. Here is a lovely fall view from our window:

All in all, it has been a great week. Yesterday the day we picked our pumpkins for fall and today we went to a Philharmonic Orchestra for Elementary students. It was really great!
